“My goodness what happened to your hair??”
The redhead cringed realising it was worse than she thought.
“Dark chocolate brown” replied the redhead.
“The box said
dark chocolate brown…..”
The brunette laughed at her friend.
“Hun, that’s not dark brown…..
how can I put it nicely?
The two girls burst into laughter.
“You know…..” said the redhead
“I’m thinking I might keep it…..
It’s liberating to not look like myself anymore.
I feel like…
I suppose I feel like an imposter…..
like I’ve been given an alter ego…
do you know of any superheros with alter egos and red hair??”
The blonde sat thinking.
“Gosh, I don’t know…..
“The only red heads I can think of are Ariel in the little mermaid, and what’s the girl with the tight black outfit?”
“I don’t know…you’re not giving me much to work with here…..” said the redhead
“There are plenty of girls with black outfits and red hair I’m sure….though not many with alter ego’s…”
The blonde sat thinking again.
“Yes..yes….but don’t you know the one I’m talking about?
She’s like a spy or something….she does martial arts…..you know the one….I’m thinking…..I’m sure you do….it’s like spiderman….but it’s a girl….
“Oh you mean spidergirl?” queried the redhead
“No not spidergirl….the bad ass spider one….
“YES!!!!” replied the blonde.
“You could have an alter ego.
Just like black widow.”
