“What is it?”
“It’s a tronningbird.”
“A tronningbird?” asked the child. “What’s a tronningbird?”
“It’s a bird devoid of life and emotion” replied the woman.
“The bird is real….yes.”
But it is not alive as such.
For something to be alive it needs to have emotion, and this bird has no emotion.
With no emotion It has no empathy for others and it can not feel…”
“Oh.” said the child.
“How did it get like that?
What happened to the real birds? The Hummingbirds from the old days that did have empathy and emotion?”
The woman looked at the child and furrowed her brow, twisting her mouth to the left at the same time, then rubbing her hand across her forehead as she thought.
“It was the flowers I think.
I….can’t quite remember….”
The woman held up her hand in a fist near her forehead trying to recall and then letting it all go.
“Never mind……it doesn’t matter now. ….
All I know is that you need to stay away from them…..
Tronningbirds are not good for humans.”
